I think this is a really amazing shot. The trees stand out from the background so much they seem superimposed onto it, great depth here. I think the B&W treatment has done this image a lot of good, especially how the trees look like hands with many long crooked reaching fingers! The composition is finished off further by the levels if you will, or layers, of light: dark on the bottom, light on top. 🙂
