To fit available dimensions everything expands
This is a truth I’ve come to understand
*
Work expands to fill time available to you
Stuff expands to fill spaces all the way through
Waists expand as long as there is food to eat
The universe is expanding, proven by evidence concrete
*
When no limits on the length of my workday I place
Work seems to fill up every waking minute, leaving no space
For me to relax, recharge or simply unwind
The only solution to this problem that I can find
Is to set a deadline for a reasonable hour of the day
(But I tend to disregard that deadline anyway)
*
I have more space in my house than I need
It is a quintessential first-world problem indeed
Even when I do not want to accumulate stuff
It piles up, getting rid or it becomes increasingly tough
I need to pretend that there is limited space available to me
Then I would be able to get rid of stuff guilt-free
*
There is overabundance of food around me
To refrain from eating less takes discipline extraordinary
Therefore portion sizes must be reduced
Such that a caloric deficit can be induced
Only then can the expansion of waist size
Be curbed- this should come as no surprise
*
What I am basically trying to say
Is that we need to place limits in some way
Otherwise expansion unchecked continues-
Let me end here and some limits choose
